DIGS signature one-stop-shop approach appeals to clients seeking an expert organization that offers everything necessary to make home dreams come true – on time – on budget – and with the highest level of creativity and craftsmanship. As President of DIGS, Lori Wellinghoff oversees all aspects of the company’s real estate representation, interior/exterior design and construction/renovation practices. A native of Cincinnati (nee Seinsheimer), Lori’s previous careers helped hone her organizational skills and passion for process and performance. Lori was a 20+ year veteran in the Marketing & Media industries – most recently as Chief Operating Officer of the National Marketing & Sales Division of Clear Channel Worldwide – and that Fortune 100’s highest ranking female executive. Lori is also a Licensed Real Estate Agent who is joined by Mary Kay Avery, David Wellinghoff, Hank Wagner and sponsoring Broker Comey & Shepherd Realtors to ensure that client real estate dreams are fulfilled with the utmost experience and professionalism. In addition to Lori’s work at DIGS, she is also President of The Hyde Park Square Business Association, past Board President of Enjoy the Arts, a member of the Women’s Capital Club and an advisor for a number of downtown redevelopment projects.
David Wellinghoff

David leads DIGS Real Estate Representation Team along with Lori Wellinghoff and Hank Wagner. David brings over 30 years of sales experience to our organization. David was recently honored as a 2009 Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors Circle of Excellence sales leader. David was also recently recognized as Comey & Shepherd Hyde Park’s #1 Sales and #1 Listing leader for 2009. David is a native Cincinnatian who knows the lay of the land like few do. David leverages his time-honed management skills and innate salesmanship to help expedite the sale of clients’ homes and to steward home buyer’s gracefully through the process of making their home dreams reality. David is a consummate professional, an active listener and a truly patient and kind soul. David ensures that our real estate clients are treated with the utmost respect and professionalism.
Brian Gibson

Brian is the Principal Designer at DIGS and a Renaissance man to say the least. A former professional basketball player, attorney, investment banker and now a renowned Designer for over 20 years, Brian’s clients benefit from his specialized knowledge of ancient art, early English and European furniture and fine antique rugs. Brian’s expertise allows him to combine elements from a variety of periods and cultures from classic to contemporary to create interiors that are cultured, original and, most importantly, supremely livable. Brian believes a home should be softly layered and collected, rather than “assembled” and always a reflection of his clients’ aesthetic, lifestyle and interests. Brian’s current projects range from the complete space and interior design of a new high-end contemporary condominium to the painstaking restoration re-design and decorating of a historic riverside brownstone.
John Harrison
Interior Designer

John was educated and trained in New Zealand, Sydney, Australia, and London, England, and has been a participant in ten local Designer Showhouses and other design related events. He has worked with clients both nationally and internationally for over four decades.
He is extremely well versed in all aspects of residential interior design as it relates to the client and has been featured on Residential Interiors, HGTV (Jan. 2005), ‘Around The House’ local regional TV program (3 features), and ‘A Hillside Firm’ CET. John has also been seen in Cincinnati Magazine, Cincinnati Enquirer, Cincinnati Post, Sophisticated Living, House Trends, and Taste magazines in numerous design related articles and is a frequent speaker at local and national seminars.
Annette Askam
Director of Project Management

Annette is responsible for all Design and Construction project management at DIGS. Annette’s experience covers a broad spectrum including design, decorating and construction. Annette has overseen and super-served scores of DIGS’ client projects ranging from seemingly simple redecorating projects (which she makes seem easy) to über-complex and extensive construction endeavors – from renovations to additions to whole house new construction. Annette is a key member of the DIGS team helping to ensure that the process is as enjoyable for our clients as the end result.
Tom Allison
Director Construction Services

Tom takes construction to its highest art form. Having apprenticed with his father (a life-long, respected Cincinnati home builder/remodeler), Tom learned the construction trade early on from a true artisan. Having attended the Art Academy of Cincinnati majoring in photography, Tom combined his love for the creative process with his construction know-how and became the head of exhibit installation at the Contemporary Arts Center of Cincinnati. While this position, which Tom held for five years, fulfilled his love of form and function, he returned to his true love of residential renovation in 2002. Tom has worked exclusively with DIGS for nearly 6 years to direct and deliver on our clients’ design/build dreams.
Mike Faber
Controller

In his role as DIGS’ Controller, Mike has an insatiable desire to ensure DIGS paperwork is clear, concise, timely and transparent. Mike helps our team ensure that DIGS’ clients are equally wowed by our documentation, financial statements and communication as they are by our creativity and work-product. Accountability is Mike’s job #1. Prior to joining DIGS, Mike was Vice President/CFO of Elder Beerman Department Stores’ Credit Card Division with annual credit sales volume of $320 million. We are fortunate to have someone as capable as Mike to manage and steward our clients’ contracts, purchase orders and funds.
